D12 Co-constructing and reviewing school action plans

An important aspect of successful schools is the ability to plan ahead by reflecting on their practise and to self review. ERO (November 2015, p.3) states that, "The whole point of internal evaluation is to assess what is and what is not working, and for whom, and then to determine what changes are needed, particurlarly to advance equity and excellence goals."

With this in mind we review our practise in the area of E-Learning, to check what is and isn't working and to make action plans for improvements. We often get feedback from our community as well as internally reflecting. Below is an extract from a community survey we undertook.

Below is a screenshot of the 2017 E-Learning Action plan that I helped develop and regularly update for the Board of Trustees and also to make sure that we are strategic in our thinking and actions. As the ERO (November 2015, p.5) also mention schools which demonstrate good practice in this area have their internal evaluations embedded in their every day practise.
