C6 Positive digital footprint

Students are encouraged to share their learning via their blogs and through the class blog. We often get feedback from our wider community which adds to the learning being authentic.

Comments from our community on our class blog.
As described through the Enabling E-Learning portal, blogging enhances authenticity, communication skills, builds stronger relationships, adds to the digital citizenship of students and develops opportunities for reflection and discussion.

An important aspect of the students blogging on the class blog and getting feedback is that it is visible. Everyone can see it and it develops a sense of authenticity,  the students take on the ownership. Through our concepts of Globalisation and Communities we are able to develop student's understanding of their digital footprint. A key phrase that is regularly heard in our class is, "Think before you click."
