The Best Evidence Synthesis states that multiple task contexts will support the learning cycles as part of the top ten characteristics of quality teaching. I openly and actively encourage student learning through a range of groupings, contexts, projects, competitions and challenges to promote a varied learning environment.

I am especially aware that my priority learners need to be challenged and engaged through learning engagements that are varied and supportive. An example of how I do this is by using materials and practical learning opportunities in Maths. Here we used a context of bicycles to learn measurement skills and concepts.
