Maths inquiry 2016

This maths inquiry was driven by our schoolwide data and trends. We researched, discussed, learned and made changes to our Maths pedagogy. We  then continued to do this while refining our practice to help students achieve better learning outcomes. 

We deliberately used the spiral inquiry model (Ministry of Education, Education Leaders, June 2007)  because we knew that we would want to make further changes to our practise as a result of the inquiry. Making a change and not reflecting and changing further would not enable us to continue to develop.
