C4 Student led conferences

Student Led conferences are a chance for whanau to focus on the learning of their child. Students are enabled to choose what is important for them to share and they actively seek feedback from their whanau. As stated in Clarity in the Classroom (Absolom, 2006. p. 201) the students build on their knowledge if they have opportunities to tell their family what they know.

Students and whanau take part in Student Led Conferences at least twice a year, as well as a 3 way conference at the beginning of the year which is largely led by the teacher.
