This evidence is an example of how I enable the students to take charge of the decision making related to their own learning.
Through my peer coaching sessions (see evidence B18) I have co-constructed a rotation of learning opportunities with the students.
Below is a video reflection of a student in my class where he is reflecting on his ownership of his learning during spelling rotations.
An improved learning outcome is that the students are on task and fully engaged in meaningful learning during spelling rotations in my class. This means they are engaged in personalised learning because the words they are learning are targeted at their needs. I especially like the way this students says it is fun.
Since implementing this learner agency rotation during my spelling lessons I have seen improved results in the regular spelling test results.
